    Do not make the mistake of trying to superimpose your ideals on me. I, for one, stand strongly for what I believe is right, and will not bend to how you believe I should have handled this situation. I will voice my opinion of your behavior as I see fit and it's up to you to take it or leave it. I'm very defensive by nature, and for some reason smiley struck me as being taken advantage of, hence I felt very strongly about the way you addressed her after what she did to try and make amends.

    It is very true that she might not be a defenseless girl, or that she wasn't offended by what you said, as well as what's been going on in this thread, but I don't give a damn, if I had stopped to second guess my actions when I felt this way about things, I'd never be capable of standing up for anything in a timely manner. It would always be after-the-fact, and that's not doing a damn bit of good.

    Also, unless there was some conversation going on in the background, you presented your side of the story with a fair bit of confidence and unwillingness to stray from your opinion of her in such a way that I didn't see much of a chance for her to retort, what with your scientific facts, fucked up question with no decent answer, and constant on-goings about how "she was asking for it".

    So yeah, I took the offensive defense stance without her consent. However, I act on principle, I would do the same for anyone in her position.

    Final note, you have a knack for striking nerves with me it seems, but in all actuality this is nothing new. Even here on the forums I've gotten into shit with people long before you ever showed up. As I stated earlier, this is how I am around people that I feel need help or cant stand up for themselves all the time. I also get that way, albeit a bit less, when people call me a liar or question my standards. If you think I'm bad on the forums, try messing with my loved ones in real life, I would, at the very least, break the leg or arm of a person that tried to harm someone close to me. I'd put you in your place if you implied my girl, my sister, my mother, ANY female in my family was a whore because of the color of her hair. So point being, be careful what you say, you never know how people will take it. There could be people like me that would take what you said very, very badly. So it's not a matter of me judging her mental capacity, it's about me observing a situation, seeing how the people involved are handling it, and deciding if I should or should not intervene. People's ability to deal with assholes has little to do with their mental capacity, in my opinion.

    PS I've been trying to figure out why I felt so strongly about defending her, and I suspect it has a lot to do with her being kinda close to my little brothers in age, but there's more to it than that. She appears to be sincerely trying to become a good member of this community and I feel she has every right to be here. There's also the female gamer thing. I'm happy to see more girls getting involved in my field of study, and will fight to keep them here if they want to be here. She has shown the desire to stay, so I will encourage that provided she doesn't do anything too stupid, as with every other member of our clan.

    I'm not trying to win anything. I don't give a shit about winning some petty argument with this guy. This goes beyond that. I truly believe he has the potential to harm this girl that has happened upon our forums, I will continue to give her the benefit of the doubt until she proves the contrary.     Dude, I called it, I knew you would do the exact same thing over and over. Post some retort with a link to a youtube vid for added effect, or to distract from the point and try to reverse the meaning. It was clever and neat the first time you pulled that out against me, but now it's just old.

    In any case, you missed most of my point. The main thing I am getting at is not that she is asking for such comments, as that can be argued, but more that I had hoped you'd have higher standards than to capitalize on such opportunities. All of my assumptions are just that, assumptions, I don't claim to know you, but I thought that you would carry yourself better than that. If we can agree that you're a sack of shit for believing you should take advantage of situations just because you can and people make it easy to do so, then we are on the same page. By your logic, you must make it a point to call out obvious shit every chance you get, which is becoming more apparent. -sees a rock sitting on the ground-" What a fucking rock.     As far as her thread title goes, it's painfully obvious how hard she's trying to stay tough and remain vigilant in the face of an entire community of assholes. Really, golden? Really? You can't pick out something that obvious? I figured you'd at least see how hard she is trying. Apparently I'm wrong, yet again, though. Because we all know as soon as you say "fuck" or string a derogatory sentence together, you're officially scum of the earth and deflowered in all respects. Holy shit, a 13 year old said a cuss word, this changes everything. Holy shit, a 13 year old used the word fuck in a sentence AND has red hair! Clearly she's a whore, and I'm sure she's just fucking thrilled you pointed that out about her after she told us a bit about herself after pretending to be another girl entirely. I'm sure you're on the right side of things, golden. So while my portrayal does give her the benefit of the doubt, a benefit she may or may not be entitled to at this point, yours is completely ignorant on many, many levels, and potentially much more harmful. You not only condemn her from the start, you also take it a few steps farther.

    And for the record, are you saying you want a 13 year old to fuck your face? Does your significant other know about these dormant fetishes? Have you dyed your hair red yet? (did any of that sound familiar?)

    Your childishness astounds me, but my expectations bar is finally lowering to meet up with you. Now that I better understand what kind of person you are, it'll be easier to disregard you in the future.

    Another thing that bothers me is that I've spoken to many girls and a few guys about these things before, and it's people like you that have the potential to either have a positive impact on another persons life through your witty observations and skill with the English language, or you can be another dumb ass that pushes that individual further down a negative path. Yet you excuse yourself into this behavior by saying she was asking for it. Grow the fuck up. And yeah, this is the internet, but that only excuses you as an individual if you can live with it. No body is making you act like a jackass, so get some standards and stick to them. While you're at it, grow some balls and stop picking on the easy 13 year old girl targets.

    You are kinda sick, golden. Perhaps the fact that I have a brother that is 10, a short 3 years from her age, predisposes me to defend her somewhat, but that is fucked up no matter how you slice it. Or do you believe that your flaunting of statistics grants you some kind of right to speak like that? That's a far cry, I doubt the scientists included 13 year olds in their study, especially considering you said "women" and not "females", or some other identifier without an implicit age group. What "unfulfilling" sex life could she possibly have experienced so far? I'm willing to bet that most people years beyond her age have not truly hit the point in their life that the study was focused on.

    I'm also willing to bet that you're aware of all of this.

    That is the main reason I find this sick. Most people might make such comments passingly, or without a real understanding of what it is they say. But you, no, you know at least somewhat well the implications of what you've suggested. So what is your aim? To gain more Thanks? At what cost? To corrupt this young girl? To fuck up her self perception even more? It's clear she already has some self esteem issues, like most people, are you trying to push that further? Have you considered that she might have dyed her hair because she was following an example or liked the style? It's disturbing to think that you're aware of all of this, yet you still said that. Or are you, once again, not thinking it through and posting for the sake of some clever observation that you've made, regardless of the potential side-effects? I don't know. I do know that I've grown weary of you since I've come across you, and that, the more I learn, the more distasteful I find you.

    Perhaps it was naive of me to assume you have standards before I knew much about you.

    Jesus, chill the fuck out, guys. I think it's cool she has the balls to even attempt to put up with this clan, even more that she is willing to get this involved. Same goes for anyone that's not an innate asshole and happens upon these forums. She has the potential to represent as a female gamer, so I'm pleased to see she hasn't been completely turned from games so far. She could be a proverbial "little-sister" to sG if you guys weren't such dicks 24/7. +1 for the sG family?

    The reason I give two shits about such things is the fact that I am a future game developer myself, and figuring out how to get more people involved in games is important to me. I believe forums (and things like ventrillo) are a piece to the puzzle, if we're willing to use them somewhat constructively. Part of me feels stupid at the moment, though, for even attempting to speak about such things to the better part of 3/4ths of the clan, you fucking idiots. But! Such is the internet, we'll see what happens.

    Also, considering the apparent volatility of this event thus far, I would recommend you take everything on these forums with a grain of salt. Be yourself, things will work out.     Mmmm, happy you noticed that. I did the two hands in completely different styles to see which I liked better. I prefer her left hand's style over the more realistic right hand. Also, I had to do the fire from imagination after I had already drawn Annie herself. There are many many flaws with the pic, but my primary objective for it was met, which was to see if I could even make it look decent with my newly found Wacom pad. So it's entirely done in photoshop with a single brush, the 2 pixels in szie, 0 hardness. I found that was the best looking one for how I was drawing her. That said, I'm pretty sure I should have been using more than just 1 brush to work on her, but I'm pretty happy with the results, nonetheless. I'm debating redoing it now that I've had a semester in my major to see what kind of progress I've made.

    This was from back before I started college at The Art Institute for Game Art and Design. I'm pretty sure I can draw somewhat better now xD This was actually done as a portfolio piece to try and get accepted into the program. The original concept came from the background. I imagined a a creepy looking tibbers looming in the darkness and wanted to see if I could draw that, and I actually ripped both models from the game and posed them in 3DS Max for reference. I was debating if that was cheating or not xD

    He says he's seen it about 3 times. It worked once, and failed miserably the two other times. You have to have extremely competent solo characters, as well as players in order to pull off jungle control. 1 good sight ward from the enemy could lead to a dual gank and a clean up team fight when the others come running in. That said, the people you played were probably terrible :P

    I watched all of 5 seconds of the 3rd video. Here is my impression:

    1) I appreciate the fact that she can sing and play an instrument at the same time, I respect that over someone that -only- sings any day of the week. (Even if it is just simple chords played over and over, at least she's trying.)

    2) I did not find her voice to be particularly appealing, but in her defense, there's very few singers that do catch my attention.

    3) In her defense, it's very difficult to be origional now-a-days. Everything is a cover of a cover of a cover, otherwise it simply doesn't get any exposure because very few people go looking for original songs without some sort of prompting. Her choice of songs is a bit weird, though, imo.

    4) I do believe she's simply milking youtube for what it's worth, but can you blame her?

    I remember a few different GG attempts. At one point they even had a GG server that was NOT Death Match, uuuuuuuuugh. My personal preference is DM starting at pistols going all the way to knife, then back to pistols. It ends up at about 48 kills or something and has a nice flow. I saw a nade mod on a server where the nades blew up on contact with the ground, that made the nade level interesting. Saw tons of people blow themselves up lol 24-32 players is more than enough. Map selection is very important. Another thing that I really liked at a server I go to is the music they selected for the Win, Start Map Vote and Connect events. It was smooth as fuck.
