Rank apps are a pain in the ass.
Also to clarify a few things, I was absolutely demanding admin because due to the ranking formats, I was under the impression that I should have had it. I had ex-SO basic admin privileges (after I stepped down as SO) which aren't officially a thing so it seemed ludicrous to me that someone we have written down on "paper" is suddenly invalid because of how one person feels about it.
Furthermore, I did actively reach out to Lindsay but turns out they're not adviser anymore, so then I reached out to Orange* who then contacted Zach. I created the forum post as a more permanent paper trail to refer to.

Props are intended to deal damage, and they will, but i have been prioritizing things recently, my intention was to fix the insta kill props.
I'll get them dealing damage again soon

admins a privilege not a right. If the core issue is having active admins on Gmod TTT then that is a separate issue. Maybe sending Zach a message on the forums/steam advising that you were interested in server officer or at least basic admin so you can help monitor the server would've been a better route instead of making a thread demanding admin, but that's just my opinion. Either way the main issue is finding people who are available/willing to monitor a server.
Also from the few current/former staff members I talked to about this issue all have agreed that admin from ranks has always been only CS:S/CS:GO and not Gmod. I'm sure it would've been better to specify in the rank system which game you got admin or at least saying that admin would be available for both games, that would've solved this issue.

Hello my name is Cthulhu Long time csgo and mainly kz player. Since I started kz I have played 3500+ hours and this server was a big part of that, I miss it dearly. So i've come to inform that sG Kz Climb is a dead server and that it is broken currently (can't connect to it) it was a dead server before it broke. But it can return to its former glory if one major change is made.
1. All you're gonna wanna do is revert from the simplekz update back to the old Kz Mod. The reason for this is because I am led to believe most of the Kz community don't like that update as many servers don't actually use it, SNG and Sneaks are good examples of servers that aren't dead and use the old kz mod. The second reason for this is because most people especially new kzer's like the point system and the SimpleKz update got rid of that.
I hope that someone who can help out sees this.

Thor now spawns with correct taser, etc. when you spawn as no race and change to Thor

SO's on War3 have it easy, pretty much don't have to do anything. Although I think more of them need to take initiative on helping newer players learn the ropes and not just say "type !war3" or whatever. [SO] Current duties: Give cash, no racism, ban blatant cheaters. That's it. half of them are afraid to lay down a ban as well because they don't want to lose their precious [SO] title.

Just because you're trying to justify not nerfing flame pred's explosion doesn't make your reasoning any less flawed. To preface this, I don't think anything should be nerfed since the server will complain about anything and everything. Obviously exceptions can be made for things that are straight imba.
As far I know, explosions are calculated based on pure range. Explosions not going through floors / ceilings are literally because they're too far away. This is literally the entire reason for people being triggered on crackhouse, because stalker kills them from the first floor. I don't see your point of low grav races having a huge or any sort of advantage
To your point of 'explosions should go through walls', HE shrapnel should go through most walls, but they don't. Why? Because its balanced that way for CSGO. And if you're bringing up big explosions go through walls, they go through all walls regardless of material. Afaik steel walls are pretty resilient.
You can try to argue the whole bash / root point, but that's almost moot too. You would have to root them far enough away (which I don't even think it's possible with the new root range for night elf), and then move away if they weren't already on the cusp of your root range. What are you going to do? Not shoot them, move away and then kill them? If it's undead, they would just shoot you while you tried to move away.
You bring up Angel of Light pretty often, but I don't think I've ever seen you on that race. You're saying you survive most explosions unless you're at 10 to 20 health. iirc, explosions are 200+ damage when you're next to them (I'm pretty sure I've seen 250+) which means you would need like 40 health or even more. You can try to argue the whole infected / pudge point again, but that's not even what the original thread was about. Can't just bring up arbitrary points to argue something that's irrelevant.
ANYWAYS, tl;dr - you're gonna need some better points if you want to defend your favorite race. To reiterate, I think everything is fine as is, but he decided to quote me so

Gravity is now reduced by 50% (same as speed) when carrying the hostage, in an attempt to fix abuse e.g. grim reaper speed captures of hostages
Widowmaker can no longer use her skills if she is carrying a primary weapon that is not an awp or an ump

Fixed Ravinick's physical damage lightning so that it is not reduced by magic dmg resistance - this may need to be done to other skills on other races in the future Rocky - looks like a lot but overall I think it's minor Thorns now caps at 30 (down from 35) Knockout now has a 54% chance to proc (down from 60%) Knockout now deals a minimum of 20 damage (down from 35 minimum) Knockout now caps at 50 damage (previously it dealt 2x your damage dealt with no cap - so theoretically 55 with an unmodified right click) Maps now show on the nomination, admin, and RTV list without the "/workshop/" path. They still cannot be nominated easily (via chat, e.g. "/nominate season" will not work) but I have a plan to fix that in the future... just a matter of time
