Apache got a reaction from BabyNicol3 in Minigames concern/suggestion
While Imperium has a point, I inherently dislike auto bhop, but if it helps then it should be implemented.  I think it would beneficial to have a vote command to turn it on and off autonomously, to help please players on both sides of this.

Apache reacted to Lv. 100 Crobat in Honest attempt to populate csgo servers
From my PoV, and I typed it in shoutbox aswell, most of the csgo community servers suffered a big loss of population, mostly non traditional cs servers. I truly believe PUBG killed most of the servers, not only sG, other communities suffered aswell, GFL, SG, and asian servers, i know because sometimes i hop on there. The last time i don't remember if it was the last year or 2015. A game killed our playerbase, then the game got boring and everyone returned.

Currently the servers generating money in sG are Gmod servers and WC3.

So, if you want to populate any server, my suggestion is be very dedicated with it, i can tell it from experience, a group of dedicated people who really wants a server back, should try and pop it daily from time to time, the server will increase it's playerbase and become popular once again.

Try to reduce the download times as much as you can. I've been on an asian server and it's download times are ridiculously long, because mostly of weebskins.

As I mentioned, servers didn't popped on summer because of PUBG, clearly, the game has gained a lot of popularity.

Post your insights here for suggestions that can be made in the future.

Hope I got the spawns correct, might of fucked that up, to tired to check (It only shows up briefly on the loading screen).

Not sure if the bombsites are "labeled" correctly either.. I just kind of picked the pub as B and the outside as A. There are no markers telling me otherwise.

Apache reacted to Karma in I Want to Give You Some Money
In the month of July, each vote you make for our Rust server here,  or by using the button on our website, is a raffle ticket.

I'll randomize those entries in excel and "roll" for a random winner using a random number generator.

If your name falls on that line of the excel sheet, I'll pay you $10 Steam cash. (Doesn't matter if you play Rust or not)

If it goes well, I'll do this every month, possibly with varying prizes announced at the beginning of the month.

**This is open to anyone. sG members, non sG members, random people who just want $10, idc. Just vote.**

DNA is back on right click(no longer spams if you're not looking at an entity)...it also works now moved sprites and traitor outlines to their own plugin for easier debugging(and possibly fixes..keep looking out for this one guys)
I'll probably make it so if you're staring at an entity and have a gun with a scope it won't scope in...soonTM

I think this is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist in the eyes of the player base. The rule was a major point of discussion and I believe the opinion was unanimous that the rule was unnecessary. No one felt that pushing the Ts was unnecessarily difficult as a result of the confines of the vent.

If the map is so much of an issue due to the T-sideness, why not find a mapper to modify it or remove the map altogether rather than set a rule the community doesn't find reason in? This doesn't seem like the right approach for the problem you are looking to solve.

I believe the rule that states "You may claim a room once it reaches overtime" that lets you get away with RDMing. Some people ignore the chat, some people mute the voice chat, a lot of people do one of these things. So stating you're claiming a "room" which in open areas has unspecified parameters, is stupid and should be removed. If you're in a room and declare it's "yours" over the voice chat, the people who have it muted are vulnerable to being RDMed, with no consequences to the RDMer. The same thing goes for people who either ignore the text chat or have found some way to remove it. The rule has very loose parameters and is available for loopholes which allow anyone to get away with RDMing anyone else, they only have to wait for overtime

Apache reacted to Reaper0470 in Claiming A Room
The biggest point of claiming rooms in overtime IMO is to force the t's to confront the remaining innocents before overtime hits and gives the innocents a better advantage when it does. The rule is stated very clearly about claiming. If someone is already in a room and another runs in and claims the room they can't kill whoever is already in the room. Only those who enter afterwards. Outside open areas aren't claimable for obvious reasons. Descriptions of the room being claimed are absolutely necessary as to avoid inno's killing inno's, but it still happens because like you stated people mute VC or ignore regular chat which is on them.

This is quite an essential part of the game mode and has been an easily followed rule for many years. If you believe someone isn't following the specified rule properly feel free to take ss's and either ask an SO or staff member about the circumstances or report it in the complaint department if you feel any staff currently on aren't doing their job. Someone usually responds to any complaint within the moment you post to a few hours at most.

It isn't RDMing if they enter your claimed area, so no one is getting away with RDM..

    That's just plain idiotic.

The rule states "You may claim a room during Overtime, you must describe the room over voice chat or normal chat", open areas like "I claim outside" aren't allowed.

Refer to my first 2 points.
