I kinda love those old Volvo's. Cool car. Looks like a shit ton of work though.
If you want a free windshield, drive around town until you find a cement mixer, or dump truck carrying rocks or whatever. Call the number on the back of the truck and complain that something fell off it and broke your windshield. They'll check to see if they had a truck in that area at the time, and most likely pay for your new windshield through insurance.

I used to airsoft and paintball, until I tore my ACL, haven't really gone back to it because the fields were so far from me. I still have my KWA M93 Special Edition, and an A&K Masada that I built up myself. Bravo v2 gearbox, with ball bearing conversion, M140 spring, forgot the brand motor but a new one to go with the M140, custom pistons (went through a lot of them with the M140) kept the original gear set and trigger assembly, runs a 6.03mm extended precision barrel with "supressor" to cover the extra length, shoots around 400-410fps with .28g bb's and 11.1v volt LiPo. Optics on it is an imitation ACOG, but at least has real magnifying optics. Also has a magpul foregrip, magpul sling, and runs Bravo M4 magazines.

Photos are like 4 years old now.

This was with foregrip and stock barrel with meat grinder muzzle break instead.

DrKhanMD got a reaction from Groov in Any Protein Powder Recommendations?
After trying many different blends and what not, I've sorta settled on Nu-tek Pro 5 orange 50-50 flavor. It tastes quite good, it blends and dissolves well, it's not pumped full of sugar/carbs *cough* muscle milk *cough*, and has a very good amino profile. Downside is you can't buy it online easily; it's only carried through Nutrishop I believe. Nutrishop is a chain though, so you might have one close to you, dunno. It's also more expensive than some other protein powders, but not ridiculously priced.

Here's a link that shows the Nu-Tek lineup and what the branding/packaging looks like.

I've also noticed people crouch while firing which makes the chest hitbox very hard to hit, maybe make it so when you crouch you are more vulnerable in other areas?

DrKhanMD got a reaction from yeet in MSF course experience
I didn't originally take the MSF to learn to ride (I already had ridden tons of dirt bikes prior to the course). I did however use it to get my M1 license just because of convenience, and not having to do the DMV nonsense. Even though I already knew how to ride pretty well I found the course invaluable. I learned little minor things that I would've never thought of on my own. Most of the things i really took away from the course was positioning yourself on the road to pre-avoid accidents and how to keep yourself from getting into accident prone situations in the first place. Another random but huge thing i took away from the course was using your full hand when doing braking. I was always a 2-3 finger guy before the course, but after my instructor told me the logic behind using full fingers, it made a ton of sense. The idea being that you train your muscle memory for braking with full fingers because when you do realistically get into a high stress situation where you need to brake hard, you will grab a hand full of brake without thinking about it, and not be using 2-3 fingers.

TL:DR I loved MSF, and MSF should be required for M1 licences, not optional.

P.S. Sign up for super bike school next!

DrKhanMD got a reaction from yeet in My new bike
Welcome to the league! I'd recommend putting some frame sliders on it to start. It probably wont save it from an actual crash, but I dropped my first bike like 6+ times in the parking lot, and frame sliders will definitely help that kinda stuff. Most of those drops were from accidentally leaving it in gear when trying to kickstart it, but that wont be a problem for you with electric start. Love the blue color scheme, and never underestimate a 250. People can talk shit all day, but I still love 250's for their lightness, and fun factor.

Ride that shit till the wheels fall off.

P.S. to prolong the wheels falling off, I'd recommend looking up what regular maintenance for motorcycles/your motorcycle is if you've never had one before. Certain things have to be serviced that don't apply to cars, so you probably wont think of them. EX: Keeping the chain well oiled and the tension correct on it.
