    I'm not here for a painful grind. I just want to play fun races and try to find expertise bonuses.
    Playing unmaxed races for hours on end doesn't feel rewarding.
    War3 is the only thing I do with sG outside of the occasional Funday, but staff cash and cash transfer keeps things exciting and promotes positive interaction between players.

     

    Also, I agree with Serif on a bot implementation and weekly XP/cash events. We need incentives to keep a busy server.


  2. A while ago I started a crackhouse topic and Coolness informed me that the original crackhouse is much too small and problematic for the server. So I took the initiative and found a modified crackhouse that is at least twice as large and much more open than the original. This is what he had to say.

     

    This look viable, we'll have a war3 ENG vote, 3 votes to pass out of 4.

     

    I'll abstain for now while I consider it.

    Since it's been over a week since that statement I'm taking initiative to make a topic dedicated to the ENG vote as well as give a poll for the community to offer a group opinion for the ENGs to go off of.

  3. IMO what crackhouse needs is more ways for the crackheads to leave the house before the ult spam overwhelms them..

     

    The map I posted has a whole other section to get out of the house or defend it so the house is effectively twice the size of the CSS version.

    This is the best crackhouse variant I could find that solves the problems the old one had while still keeping the same overall design.

    I tested it in game without the War3 mod and I can fly to just about any point but I'm unable to leave the skybox from what I saw. If anyone wants to double check my work or check the map out themselves then feel free to subscribe to the map and it will automatically be downloaded and available in offline play.

  5. The map was on rotation and was removed due to the ability abuse on heroes. It doesn't work out like it used to and it was already on rotation and removed more than once. Believe it or not I actually loved crackhouse in CSS and I'm sad to see that it doesn't work out in CS:GO. That being said, the version of crackhouse that we have already tried several times is not going back into rotation, however I would be more than happy to try out a bigger more suitable version of Crackhouse if someone is willing to make a fix for the war3 mod.

    I'm somewhat confused. Is the Crackhouse for CS:GO different from the CSS one or does it just not work out with the CS:GO server?

     

    *Edit* I checked the Steam Workshop and there are multiple ports of the CSS Crackhouse with the exact same dimensions.


  6. I respect the effort you put into your argument with all the math. I agree entirely that Shotguns and Adventurers should not be allowed to marry. We must keep the races pure and putting those two together is a debacle!


  7. As someone who plays knife races a lot it's come to my attention that Judge of Altana is the perfect anti-knife race. It's so perfect in fact that it's nearly impossible to kill without the assistance of someone with a gun or the judge being very blind. Altana needs a nerf in the areas that affect knife races to make it at least killable.

     

    Reason #1

    Two skills that hard-counter knife races.

    Entangle (strong against any race) and Knife Immunity.

     

    Reason #2

    You need THREE Backstabs to kill a full health Altana.

    A person usually becomes aware that there is an enemy after the first stab.

     

    Reason #3

    High Damage UMP with Extended Clip.

    Not only can you not kill it, but it can easily melt you.

     

    Just because a race counters another one it shouldn't be brutally unkillable. That Knife Immunity deserves to be weakened in some way.
