SO's on War3 have it easy, pretty much don't have to do anything. Although I think more of them need to take initiative on helping newer players learn the ropes and not just say "type !war3" or whatever. [SO] Current duties: Give cash, no racism, ban blatant cheaters. That's it. half of them are afraid to lay down a ban as well because they don't want to lose their precious [SO] title.

That is every race's maxed KDR, sorted in order from highest KD to lowest KD. Some numbers may be wrong due to the method of input, but majority are accurate. This is just raw data for now, but eventually I'd like to turn this into a sort of monthly update. Showing where races stood last month to their current standing this month, aswell as other interesting tidbits of information. I'd be interested to hear feedback and see if anyone is actually interested or if I'd be doing it exclusively to waste a few hours a month.

Fixed a bug where molotovs could bash on the following races:

Emperor Trump (reflecting bash from a molotov when the molotov shouldn't bash) Anti Mage (when attacking and mini-bashing a person with their knife out) Damoi Tui (bash aura) Dragon Knight (bash nearby enemy when hit) Chronos New Game + Lina Banshee   Dreadknight now prints a hint when acute senses entangles a knife race.
 
Ravinick now properly displays how much damage it deals with it's effects in hints and text.
 
Thardy lifesteal no longer persists through death.

Fixed a bug where in some rare cases skills that deal magic damage (not "additional damage" or "critical damage") could get be critical hits. Thanks to [mention=23021]Hamburglar[/mention] for providing some "/debug" notes which were helpful 
This may or may not negatively affect the following races. If you think one of them was "balanced" and this bug has significantly altered it's damage output negatively, please let me know and I will review it.

Blademaster Dante Khadgar Soul Stealer This also fixed a bug where bonus damage to undead (Priest, Yrel) could count on magic damage skills. This includes Priest's Judgment, Yrel's Holy Shield, and Yrel's Judgment.  
Human invis was reduced from 65% to 50% to agree to the skillsinfo and what it has always been. Not sure why/when it was increased ...

Added 2 new items:
 
Blingtron 6000 Gift Package - $3,500 - player is given a random shop item (excludes wish, xp items, mask, jump, mole, necklace). The worse a player is performing, the better odds they have to get good items. Shopkeeper's Cache - $5,000 - player is given a random shop item (excludes wish and xp items). The odds to get each item is not affected by player performance. Since any bugs or oversights could lend itself to being abuseable, I'd like to state once again to keep in mind if you feel there is a possibility either item is bugged or abuseable, please use caution and report it without abusing it. 
 
They were somewhat thoroughly tested. If you see any text lines that start with "ERROR!!!" please screenshot your playerinfo and the chat error that posted and send to me or post a war3 bug report on the forums.
 
I'd also say, similar to expertise, any attempt to publicly figure out the odds etc would heavily encourage me to alter them... if you feel compelled to do it, I recommend you keep it to yourself. The math is quite complex and easy to change drastically

This is a tough one, with proper play this isn't a problem. On the other hand, with what people are used to, this is OP.
 
The whole thing about this bhopping is that it's a HUGE change to server balance, everything is much more fast paced. Due to the increase in mobility, knife races have seen the most benefit. But that doesn't mean that they're the only ones, everyone can bhop equally, it's just another personal skill that was introduced. Counter picking is going to be A LOT more important in this "meta", anti-mobility races are going to be more important than they ever have been.
 
Now, I wouldn't be opposed to a movement speed debuff when you have a hostage (if this is possible), but I don't feel a full normal move speed is called for. Look at knife races that aren't tanky, most people will avoid getting hostages due to the fact that they can't use their survivability/movement abilities w/ the hostage. At least w/ bhop they have a chance of surviving or rescuing the hostage, right now they would have to play mind games and completely outplay the person w/ a gun despite how much better they may be.
 
Well that was a huge rant that kinda gave my opinion on bhop, I haven't had this much fun in a long time. I am an experience bhopper and have many hundreds of hours on bhop servers, I think a lot of skill comes into play when navigating confined spaces such as doorways and hallways weaving properly as to maintain speed and going through the doorways. I like that it adds another element of skill and I would hate to see it taken away, the old movement just feels bad and sticky.

There was a config error.  It is now fixed but needs server restart to apply. (Or maybe a map change).

Me and some other people have been having problems connecting to the server due to downloading maps, I tried console commands and no luck. I keep having to go to GameBanana and download the maps, this is just a pain when I keep having to do it for multiple maps.
 
Is there a way we can download all the maps for each server all in one go through FTP or just a zip? Possible to restrict it to user classes if you think it would get abused somehow?

Between now and the end of January, I won't be doing much with regards to the server. I have a lot of RL plans. I'll be around some, but I likely won't spend that time on the server.
From February through late April, I'll be largely unavailable. I won't be home much and I will spend approximately 0 time on the server.
 
After the start of May, if everything plays out the way I hope, I'll have a lot of stuff going on in my life. If that's the case, we will see what happens then.
 
Not to commit him (he really has no obligation to), but I think the intention is that @Moose will be more involved in War3 if he has time. He has full developer access and I gave him a lot of the run down, so he should be GUCCI.

A suggestion was brought up in the server about changing Blademaster's ult by having the damage increase/decrease based on where you are in the radius of the ult. The further away you are, the less damage/second you take and the closer you are the more you take.
 
This would make it feel better to play against and I think would be a great balance change.

I think it's too rare of occurrence to do anything about it now, it was pretty funny when it happened. Although, I will give you that it was a little annoying that we were rtving every one of those maps in under 5 rounds. At least wait to RTV until cash round!
