Reason for wanting whitelist: I played on the server a lot before the whitelist before I stopped to play surf again, but now I want to get back into bhopping and split playtime among the two.
Why should you get whitelisted: I'm gonna start bhopping more frequently on the server than I used to and I'm a non-toxic player

TTT:GO Admining Guide
 
    One of the main goals of Admining is to not affect the current round in play either via slaying or asking the perpetrator why they did what they did. Typically we are going to want to wait until either after the round is over, or until both parties have died for that round before we take any action. (Exception would be if you absolutely need to ban someone and they are currently alive.)
 
    Another note: do not use Admin broadcast chat if you are dead and NOT IDed. You should also not use your Admin powers to sway a round by threatening to slay a player, ban a player, etc.
 
    This is a general guide for most scenarios that will occur on the server. There may be scenarios, however, that will not fall under this guide, so if one of those are to arise, use your best judgement.
 
General Procedure
 
Check the logs. While you should not assume someone is lying, it’s always good to confirm that an event did in fact occur. Another reason to do this is because the logs may give helpful insight into an event (and you may already be able to tell what happened by the logs alone.) Checking the shotlogs is also a good idea. Ask the person who may have RDMed. It’s good to also ask why someone killed another, as situations and circumstances may have occurred outside of the logs. If you are absolutely sure of it being an RDM without having asked the person, then you may punish them appropriately, but chances are asking them is the best way to go about this. Ask the person affected if they want the other slain. This is good practice, and it will also provide valuable input from the person whom was killed unjustly. Generally, someone should not be slain if the affected does not want them to be. (However, use your best judgement, as some circumstances such as blatant RDM may require a slay despite the affected’s answer.) Proceed with punishment. One or two RDM’s in a single round should warrant one or two slays, depending on what you feel best. If they have been constantly RDMing over a period of time, a ban is appropriate punishment.  
Useful Admin Commands to Know
 
/slaynr (name) will add one slay to a person, who will die on the next round start. You can also add a number after their name if you wish to add more than one. /rslaynr (name) and /removeslay (name) will both remove one slay from a person. You can add a number after their name here as well. /blink (name) will teleport players. Use this if they are stuck somewhere, or if they are in an area they should not be. /rename (name/player) (new name) will change a players name. Use this to change someone’s name if it is unreadable/not pronounceable. (Names containing racial slurs should warrant a kick.) /kick (name) (reason) will kick a player from the server. /ban (name) (time) (reason) will ban a player for a specific time and reason. Going into console and typing ttt_log will yield damage logs for that round. Logs will also print in console after the round is over. Additionally, you may type ttt_shotlog in console to produce the shotlogs for that round. Other commands such as /mute (name) to mute voice chat and /gag (name) to mute regular chat may be needed if they are excessively spamming.  
Extra Information
 
For all arguments above that require a name to be used, you can also use a players status number. To do so, you would put #(userIDnumber) instead of their name. For example, /rename #13 ExampleName. To find this number, you would type ‘status’ in the console.


Ban lengths are listed at the bottom of the rules. I advise you, if you have not already, read through the current rule set and the ban lengths provided at the bottom, if you are capable of banning for those lengths.
 
Final note: I'm sure updates will be made to this, so make sure to keep an eye out for possible updates.

Coming from hundreds of hours as staff on TTT Gmod, and hundreds of hours on other sG servers, I never had a problem with server quality or community.... until now. I don't have anything against any INDIVIDUAL players, although several of them are extremely childish.
 
Here's a summary of tonight's events that made me quit sG TTT:GO permanently. 
 
1. Round start, I was selected as Traitor.
2. Daniel damaged me for 18 with a decoy. Issue #1
3. Eagle called SUS on me for taking damage. Issue #2 
4. I stood still typing because my mic broke, and as I was typing out remarks defending myself, everyone started calling me an asshole and Milkman RDM'd me.
5. Nobody was held accountable for the actions, and I was ridiculed until leaving. Issue #3
6. lindsay was also ridiculed for helping me to find the forums and file a report, THE ONLY PERSON DOING THEIR JOB ON THE SERVER. Issue #4
 
I understand that this server is still in development, that is why I will turn this complaint into a SUGGESTION. I don't want any individuals listed punished in any way for their actions. 
 
Issue #1: The decoy is a terrible item that aggravates countless players and is used for mass RDM (always unpunished)
SOLUTION: Remove the decoy or alter that it only affects the user, or does no fall damage to surrounding players.
 
Issue #2: (Minor) Calling suspicion should be limited. On several occasions, popular players (loud players) would call suspicion on me for no reason (I had not fired any shots that round or been near killings), and it would result in me being tailed constantly throughout the round, ruining my T rounds.
SOLUTION: Encourage popular players (i.e. STAFF) not to call suspicion for no reason, and generally uphold good sportsmanship.
 
Issue #3: RDM is not a mystery. It's not hard to slay the RDMers, and Milkman even admitted to RDM'ing me on purpose because I was "being a dick". This is not a reason.
SOLUTION: Allegedly there are damage logs, and its not hard to remember who called the false KOS in the first place. Enforcement of the rules is CRUCIAL for server survival.
 
Issue #4: Despite being several sG members on the server, Lindsay and another sGr, can't remember who, were the only ones trying to help. (Although the sGr in question did it in a very rude way, it is still appreciated). I expected staff to try to HELP newer players, and not enable them to be bullied/RDM'd. 
SOLUTION: DO YOUR JOB!!!! Even if you are not a staff member, tasked with enforcing the rules, EVERY sG member is expected to uphold a good image for the sG community. If countless sG players are teaming up, enabling others to break server rules, and willingly breaking server rules themselves without punishment, you will lose your player base to toxic rulebreakers.
 
Thanks for reading all of this. I think it is very important to encourage discussion about improvements for the server, and not to have members discourage this discussion (!!! pointed remark !!!). I will stick to sG bhop for now, but I'm looking forward to playing other sG servers in the future.

lol, i like how this guys entire argument is that he had a disability and therefore was blameless, even better is when he says that even if he did not have the disorder it should not matter because he should be unbanned.

-Shavit-mapchooser updated to show cleaner names.
-If you noclipped recently and try to leave the start zone you'll be automatically reset, instead of just stopping your timer.
-Setspawn has a nice little menu now.
-Fixed an exploit that would let people use checkpoints on no-limit.
-Started transitioning shavit-mapchooser to use translation files (lets players see messages in their native language).
-Slash is the weekly style. Hold crouch to activate the crouch sliding mechanics.

Hell froze over and after over 4 years Rust is not going to be 'early access' anymore. Big changes are the updates will be monthly (instead of weekly) and the cost is going up.

I agree on all points. Myself and @ThatOllieWhoDies just wanted an impromptu kind of "Hey come do some fun shit on rust" kind of event. Was the first one of this kind that was planned at all, so in the future we will take all of your above points and some of our own observations into consideration, but yes we absolutely will do this again. As short as it was, it was pretty fun, and got a few random non-sg players involved and hyped up too  Thanks to all who participated btw! Special thanks to @krony @Sponsored and @ThatOllieWhoDies  for helping with pre-event stuff too. I have a video and at some point today I'll get it uploaded to youtube.

Going give some feedback to the event so it can be better for next time or something.
 
1. no Rockets due the raider team capable shooting rockets from their own base to defender's base without move forward as all of defender's bed got destroyed to rockets.
2. need to make thread to get list of participants so that way we can form teams before the event then we can have players log on on Rust map to ally the teammate so that way the teammate won't accident kill each other while against other team.
3. there was very few doors for players to get out at both base at bottom when there should be more exits, in back and both sides.
 
Other than that, pretty fun event though it kinda end bit too quickly than what I thought.
