Protester Climbs Stature of Liberty, Pleads Not Guilty

Personally, I think that she shouldn’t be let off without charges because of all the trouble she caused. Firstly, she caused thousands of tourists to be evacuated from the island on the 4th of July, which is the busiest time of the year for the landmark. Secondly, NYPD forces had to be diverted just to solve the problem with her, which some officers say endangered citizens. It’s unlikely that she will get away without charges, but she seems to have a whole lot of support behind her. What do all of you think?

She wasn’t charged not guilty, she’s pleading not guilty and probably won’t win. She has another court hearing on August 3rd.

Yes, she did get a lot of attention, but she screwed up the fourth of july for thousands of people in the process.
