Rules For Using The Mic In Our Servers

The following are the rules for using the mic in our servers.

1. Do not spam the mic or text. Spamming will be defined as the over-use or abuse of the microphone and/or text chat. Repeating the same message over and over would be considered mic/text spamming.

2. Be quiet when you are dead and other players that are still alive. It is unfair for other players to have to try and hear over your speaking in game. They should be able to hear approaching enemies with ease.

3. Don't be disrespectful. I think this is pretty obvious. Disrespecting players or admins will not be tolerated. Use appropriate wording and don't get carried away with cursing. We will not punish people for cursing but someone acting out or repeating curse words will be considered breaking the rules.

4. Use appropriate language. Be mature and don't talk about stupid crap in game. The general rule is, if you can't say it in front of your mother, you shouldn't say it.

5. Playing music over the mic is not allowed. Only in instances where the server count is low(below 8 players total), and everyone in the server agrees with the playing of that music will any music be allowed. We will be lenient with other sounds but you must stop playing them if asked to.

Casual Talking On The Mic

1. It is OK to have conversations in the server. These conversations should be brief and respectful of other players.

2. If someone asks you to please be quiet, then be respectful and be quiet. Don't retort with a nasty comment. We will consider this misconduct and punishment will be handed out. We are a community here and we need to get along!

THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE IS THIS.

If an admin asks you to be quiet, LISTEN!!! They have the right to mute you for any of these reasons and if you try to leave and come back to be unmuted, they have the authority to ban you for one day with no questions asked. Respect all admins when using the mic, even if they are disrespecting you. Gather evidence and report on forums or directly to me if you feel you were mistreated. We will and do punish admin abusers on a regular basis, so don't think that we just let things slide. We work very hard to be fair to everyone, not just admins and members of sG.

Some people like to hear the sound of the game. Some people like to talk and play. We will need to just be respectful of everyone and get along. We will tolerate some usage of the mic because we want to keep our servers fun and we want our community to know each other. We all need to be mature about it and use it for the right reasons not the wrong ones.

Rules For Using Sprays In Our Servers

The following are the rules for sprays in our servers.

1. No "hardcore" pornography. Anything showing genitalia, either photographed, drawn, or computer generated is strictly prohibited. Use your judgment when using erotic sprays of any kind. Child porn is grounds for a permanent ban on the first offense.

2. No racism. Do not use sprays that are disparaging to any ethnic group, religion, sex, or sexual orientation. This is simple enough.

3. Be respectful. If an admin asks you to stop using a spray, STOP USING THE SPRAY. If another player on the server is offended by the spray for a reason that is not against the rules, stop using it until they leave.
