CSGO Folder

Recommended Posts

Open Console (`/~ key)

Type "record <demo name>" in console

Type "stop" when you wish to stop recording.

The default install directory for CSGO is C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive/

You probably unintentionally installed it in a different directory, then.

If you can't find a fix, these are decent alternatives.

http://www.fraps.com/

http://beta.xfire.com/

Xfire is better since it uploads directly to your xfire profile vs fraps which would take a long time to upload to some video streaming website.

The advantage of demos is they essentially don't drop the performance of your comp while playing at all. They're also small file sizes went showing to other ppl.

How do you get them to record in smaller sizes? I recorded a 1:10 demo and it was 700 mbs.
